University of Technology Sydney (UTS)
The University of Technology Sydney is the Australian public research university in Sydney, Australia. It was born in 1988 when the former New South Wales Institute of Technology became officially as University of Technology Sydney. History of New South Wales Institute of Technology was dated back from 1964. In addition to that, UTS has been actively providing education to more than 40,000 students in over 130 undergraduate and 210 postgraduate courses under departments like Science, Engineering, Humanities, Arts, Business, Information Technology, and so on. With over 40,000 students, UTS is one of the largest Australian institutes in terms of total enrolment. In fact, UTS has an agreement with more than 185 universities of 40 countries for the student exchange program. Research Scholarships at the University of Technology Sydney
Every year, the University of Technology Sydney offers 60 fully-funded research scholarships for international students. The main purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance and support to students who wish to start study in Australia through Higher Degree Research.
Scholarship value
The scholarship covers the full-time tuition fee of the course during the whole program.
Scholarship eligibilities
In order to be eligible for international research scholarships at the University of Technology, you must
- Be a citizen of any countries other than Australia and New Zealand
- Be commencing studies at the university by Higher Degree Research
- Not previously hold any higher degree research qualifications or any degrees equivalent to research degrees in Australia
- Not be beneficiary of any scholarships or funding from before
- Satisfy the research degrees course requirements. Similarly, you also need to satisfy the English language proficiency
Scholarship application process
You need to submit an application in order to apply for this scholarship. However, you can only apply for this scholarship if you had already applied for a course program at the University of Technology Sydney.
