The Louis Bacon Environmental Leadership Program brings together emerging leaders dedicated to preserving and enhancing our shared environment. The fully funded environmental fellowship is available at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). The program connects fellows with highly accomplished national and international leaders, providing them with the skills to:

Harvard Louis Bacon Environmental Leadership Fellows are a part of the Center for Public Leadership’s community of graduate fellows and will participate in an enriching co-curricular experience designed to enhance their skills and engage their development as emerging leaders in environmental public policy and practice. The co-curricular program typically includes a welcome retreat, a speaker series, workshops and seminars, a field experience and opportunities to connect with other Center for Public Leadership fellows and alumni
This fellowship is open to applicants entering their first year of study in any of the Harvard Kennedy School’s masters’ degree programs. Students pursuing a joint degree at HKS and another Harvard graduate or professional school or those in concurrent programs at other approved universities or schools may also apply.
Fully Funded Harvard Environmental Fellowship 2020
The recipients of the 2020 Louis Bacon Environmental Leadership Fellowship at Harvard will receive a fully funded tuition scholarship. The recipients also receive health fees for up to two years, depending on the length of their graduate degree program. Moreover, the fellows are eligible for a stipend up to $10,000 for up to two years. As such, the fellows will participate in a robust co-curricular program offered by the Center for Public Leadership.
Eligibility for 2020 Harvard Environmental Fellowship
The fully funded Environmental fellowship is open to all admitted degree program students at Harvard Kennedy School. Domestic as well as international applicants are welcome to apply. Moreover, applicants should have excellent academic credentials. Also, they should have demonstrated leadership promise and interest in impacting environmental public policy and practice.
The selection committee of the Louis Bacon Environmental Fellowship at Harvard will select the applicants on the basis of their academic credentials and a demonstrated focus on developing leadership abilities to impact environmental public policy and practice. Further, CPL seeks a diverse cohort of fellows with emerging leaders from the government, business, and NGO communities dedicated to preserving and enhancing our shared environment.

Candidates can apply for the fully funded Louis Bacon Environmental Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School (HKS). Fellowship applicants must, at first, gain admission at the HKS before applying the fellowship. Moreover, the application procedure for both the admission as well as Fellowship requires the applicants to submit the online application.
Deadline
Harvard Kennedy School accepts the admission application until 1 December 2019. While the students may apply for the Louis Bacon Environmental Fellowship until 1 February 2020.
