      • Yeah, Midwestern State University does provide scholarships based on merit. Here are some of them:

        Priddy Scholars Program
        Total Worth: Full Tuition and Residential Funding
        Eligibility: Full Tuition and Residential Funding

        President’s Distinguished Scholarship
        Total Worth: $7,000 per year
        Eligibility: $7,000 per year
        Minimum Criteria: ACT = 27+ and/or SAT = 1200 (prior to March 2016) or 1270 (taken after March 2016) + and Top 25%
        Requirement for maintenance: Recipients must be enrolled as full-time students each long term, passing a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours prior to the beginning of the next academic year. Recipients must maintain a minimum cumulative 3.5 grade point average prior to the subsequent fall term to be considered for renewal.
        Separate application needed: No

        Freshman Distinction
        Total Worth: $2500 per year
        Eligibility: $2500 per year
        Minimum Criteria: 1360 Old SAT, 1420 New SAT, or 31 ACT

        Midwestern State University provides aids at an average of 10955 per student meeting 70% of students need. 100% of students with need receive financial aid at an average of 8728 need-based grant. They also provide other scholarships including Phi Theta Kappa and Dr. F. Robert Madera / Baggett Accounting Scholarship.
