RMIT University (officially as “Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology”) or RMIT is the Australian public research university located at Melbourne, Australia. RMIT is offering various degree programs under 23 schools in 3 academic colleges. The school enjoys a global reputation for quality, especially in the areas of engineering, computer science and information systems, accounting and finance, communication and media studies, education, psychology, law, and economics. The annual undergraduate tuition fees are $28,800 for business courses, $27,840 for Arts/Education, and $34,560 for Engineering/Science.
English Language Scholarships
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology has 5 scholarship vacancies for students from some specific countries to study the English language in Australia. This scholarship is for those students who wish to enroll in 10 weeks ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for International Students) program.
Eligibilities
In order to be eligible for English Language Scholarships at RMIT, you must
- Be a citizen from any of the following countries: Taiwan, Thailand, Korea, Japan, Mongolia or Vietnam.
- Be applying from outside Australia.
- Enroll in an English for Academic Purposes program at RMIT English Worldwide, commencing in 2019
- Be commencing undergraduate or postgraduate program after English class
Scholarship value
The value of the scholarship is AU$4,430 for 10 weeks ELICOS program.
Scholarship application process
You must send a course application to study at RMIT to take part in the scholarship assessment. In addition to that, you submit a personal statement outlining why you need a scholarship.
