Western Institute of Technology (WIT), established in 2008, is a privately owned training organisation in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The College has four open campuses across the state, giving the opportunity to students to study at a location of their preference- all of which are easily accessible by public transport. Some of the study options on offer include the Advance Diploma of Leadership and Management; the Diploma of Building & Construction (Management); the Diploma of Business; the Certificate IV in Business; Certificate IV in EAL; and Certificate III in Painting & Decorating. Its trainers have industry experience and currently deliver training to over 1000 students. WIT provides education programs in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector, ranging from short courses to advanced diploma level courses. WIT has been focusing on providing a significant educational experience that gives students the crucial opportunities to gain the extensive knowledge and skills needed to innovate and adapt effectively to a lifetime of social and technological revolution. When kicking off the delivery of training in 2008, as a registered training provider of Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS), the first group of students comprised of only 20 international students. Today, the college delivers training to over 1000 students, both Australian and overseas students.
