Established in 1998, VIT (Victorian Institute of Technology) is a quality, premier Higher Education Provider and Registered Training Organisation (RTO). It has been registered as Registered Training Organisation since 2000 and is privately operated. VIT operates from two locations: 123 Queen Street, Melbourne and School of Hospitality located at 413 Johnston Street, Abbotsford. They provide a large range of full and part-time accredited and nationally recognized qualifications, industry-oriented short courses and other leading edge technologies. VIT provides quality education in the following fields: Information Technology, Digital Media, Commercial Cookery, Patisserie, Hospitality, Business, Management and English. Moreover, they provide quality training to regular clients ranging from Small to Medium Enterprise (SMEs), through to leading Australian companies and have earned a reputation as a quality training provider both in the domestic and overseas markets. As specialists in the IT sector, VIT is an SAP University Alliance Program Member, Oracle Gold Partner, Microsoft IT Academy Program Member, accredited Microsoft Certified Partner since 2000 and is also recognized as a quality Higher Education provider through its Bachelor of Information Technology & Systems (BITS) program, facilitating a pathway for all Diploma of IT (Networking) students into our own Higher Education course.
