Torrens University is an Australian international private, for-profit university and vocational registered training organisation, with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Blue Mountains, Australia, Auckland, New Zealand, and Suzhou, China. As of 2022 the university has about 21,000 enrolled students.

Torrens University Australia, along with Think Education and Media Design School, together form Torrens Global Education, which is part of Strategic Education, Inc.

Torrens University Australia was accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency in 2012. It was originally expected to open in 2013 but commenced teaching in 2014. In September 2019, Torrens University was reaccredited by TEQSA for 5 years until September 2024.

Total Worth Value: 25% of your total tuition costs
Eligibility and Requirements Undergraduate and postgraduate international students must maintain a full-time study load, 1 EFTSL over a 12-month study period, to maintain their scholarship. Scholarship applicable on tuition fee only and on first attempt subjects. Full price charged on retake subjects if previously failed. Scholarship may not be eligible for any course changes during the duration of study. Undergraduate applicants are required to display a credit average from high school and an IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent. Postgraduate applicants are required to display a credit average in their previous degree and have an IELTS of 7.0 or equivalent overall.

Other Details Based on your previous academic results, you could be in the running for a Business Merit Scholarship. They cover 25 per cent of your total course tuition and are available to new international students applying to study with us.

Eligibility and Requirements You must be a new Torrens University Australia student. You must have relevant work experience (at least one year of experience in your field of study) documented in a CV. You should be currently employed in a relevant industry (Design & Creative Technology, Business & Hospitality, Health & Education). You must have 2 x references from your current employer/manager.
